25+ to drive, unless the Company and its insurer approve otherwise in writing.- A current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license and the ability to operate safely.
- Written Company approval for every driver. Additional drivers must complete any required separate driver agreement.
- Two people maximum: one approved driver and one passenger.
Bring to pickup.
- Bring your valid driver’s license and the payment and insurance information requested for verification.
- Complete the rental agreement and any required additional-driver agreement.
- Complete a separate passenger waiver before anyone rides as your passenger.
- Confirm your pickup appointment, agreed return time, travel area, and protective equipment.
Before you drive.
- Wear required helmets, eye protection and seat belts.
- Confirm protective-equipment and passenger requirements before travel.
- Do not drive impaired, carry unauthorized passengers, or operate outside approved uses and areas.
Understand your coverage.
Insurance eligibility, exclusions, deductibles, and renter responsibilities depend on the approved agreement and applicable coverage. Do not assume that personal insurance or a credit-card benefit covers the rental. Confirm coverage and provide any requested proof before pickup. How does the $500 authorization hold work?
A $500 authorization hold is placed at pickup. It is separate from rental charges and is not an upfront security-deposit charge or a cap on lawful responsibility. The full inspection is completed within 48 hours of actual return, including weekends and holidays. Release is initiated two calendar days after the full inspection is completed, subject to authorized deductions. Your bank may take additional time to make funds available.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel at least 48 hours before pickup and choose a full refund or rental credit. Cancel less than 48 hours before pickup and receive credit only, with no cash refund. Credit is valid for one year from the cancellation date. Eligible full refunds include all paid booking amounts and all FareHarbor booking and processing fees, with none deducted.
Exactly 48 hours qualifies for the refund-or-credit choice; 47 hours 59 minutes does not.
How much mileage is included?
4 hours: 75 miles. 12 hours: 125 miles. 24 hours: 150 miles. Two days: 300 miles. One prepaid package adds 125 miles for $100 before departure. Extra mileage is $0.98 per mile; no unlimited mileage.
What happens if the Company cancels for weather?
Choose a fee-inclusive full refund or a rental credit valid for one year from cancellation. A no-show is charged the full booking price under the agreement.
How are mixed weekday and weekend dates priced?
Rentals spanning weekday and weekend or actual holiday categories require an individual quote. The entire rental is not priced solely from its pickup day.
